Nevada voters are heading to the polls Tuesday to cast ballots in the state's primary election, with races for governor, Congress, state offices and local positions on the ballot.
Polls are scheduled to close at 7 p.m., though voters who are in line by closing time will still be allowed to vote.

Tuesday marks the final opportunity for voters to participate in the primary election after early voting concluded Friday. Voters who still have a completed mail ballot can return it at an official ballot drop box in their county before polls close.
The primary election will determine which candidates advance to the November 3 general election.
Among the races drawing statewide attention are the Republican and Democratic primaries for governor. Voters are also selecting nominees in congressional contests, statewide constitutional offices, legislative races and local elections.
Election officials encourage voters to verify their polling location before heading to the polls. In Washoe County, voters are not restricted to a single polling location on Election Day and may cast their ballot at any Vote Center.
All Washoe County Vote Centers are accessible and offer accommodations for voters with disabilities, including curbside voting.
Voters can also check wait times at Vote Centers before heading out, allowing them to choose the location with the shortest line and potentially reduce their time at the polls.
Voters can also track the status of their mail ballot through the state's ballot tracking system.
Unofficial results are expected to begin posting after polls close Tuesday evening. The first results will likely include early voting totals and a portion of mail ballots, with Election Day votes added throughout the night.
Because Nevada counties process ballots at different rates, some races may not be decided immediately after polls close.
The candidates who emerge from Tuesday's primary contests will move on to the general election, where voters will return to the polls November 3 to decide several key statewide and local races.
