New apartments in south Reno are officially open.
Sierra Vista Apartments held their grand opening on Thursday morning.
Reno Councilman Oscar Delgado was on hand.
These apartments are state-of-the-art and range in size from studios to three bedroom apartments. They also have an outdoor kitchen, pool, and more.
"This is like, one of the hottest areas of Reno. South Reno is the place that everybody wants to be, so why not here?” says regional manager, Roland Montoya.
These apartments are on Arrowcreek Parkway in south Reno.
They start at $1,195 a month which Montoya says is well below the average rates in the south Reno which may target renters who may otherwise overlook this part of the area..
