While the "St. Vincent's Super Thrift" store is still getting ready to open, they do want to remind you they are accepting donations of gently used goods to put in the store.
The new location will be in the old JC Penney Outlet on Glendale Avenue and is set to open Memorial Day Weekend. Gently used items include clothing, furniture and household items.
There are four locations you can drop off those donations:
- St. Vincent's Thrift Shop – 500 East Fourth Street, Reno (at Valley Road)
- St. Vincent's Super Thrift – 190 East Glendale Avenue, Sparks (at McCarran Blvd.)
- Donation Drop-off Center – 4670 Sparks Boulevard, Sparks (at Disc Drive)
- Donation Drop-off Center – 3590 West Plumb Lane, Reno (at McCarran Blvd.)

The Thrift shop is a major source of funding for the services provided by the Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada including free food and social services. All of the revenue from the St. Vincent's Thrift Shop goes to help locals in need.Â
