One person suffered burn injuries after an early morning van fire in south Reno.
It happened in the parking lot of the Springhill Suites just off of South Meadows Boulevard in Reno.
Reno Fire responded and were able to quickly knock it down, just after 2 a.m.
The late eighties van had propane tanks inside and left one person with minor injuries.
"We do have one person with burns to the hands related to the fire. we transported that person to the hospital and we'll do some follow through when we get there,” says Battalion Chief Brad Drum.
It's unknown at this time if that person was the owner of the van but Reno Fire tells us that the van appeared to have been abandoned and had no plates.
The cause of this fire is under investigation.
