A car fire that briefly threatened nearby wildland was knocked down by fire crews in Sun Valley on Friday.
The fire started before noon in the 100 block of east 5th Avenue.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported and a cause was not immediately announced.
Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue also say that no structures were damaged.
