An investigation is underway after a RV caught fire in Sun Valley early Monday afternoon. 

The fire broke out after 12:15 p.m. near Sun Valley Blvd. and Gepford Parkway inside a broken down RV.

Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue fire crews say no injuries were reported but one dog did die. 

A portion of Gepford was temporarily closed while fire crews cleared the scene.Â
