As of 6:15 p.m., according to the Lyon County Sheriff's Office, the semi-truck has been removed and the road is back open.

A semi-truck carrying hazardous materials crashed near Yerington Monday prompting a partial road closure. 

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says Aiazzi and Miller Lanes are expected to be closed the entire day.

Deputies say the semi-truck driver was illegally on the road when the truck somehow rolled over.

The immediate area is closed to all traffic due to the potential danger of hazardous materials being released from the truck.

There's no immediate on what the truck was hauling, or if the driver is injured.

Lyon County Emergency Management, along with Mason Valley Fire Department and Nevada State Police are all responding.
