A major new matching campaign could generate more than half a million dollars for youth mental health resources across Northern Nevada. Eaton Dunkelberger, CEO of the Community Foundation of Northern Nevada, joins Sarah Johns to announce a $300,000 matching fund designed to help local donors double their impact while supporting organizations serving children, teens and families.

Dunkelberger also introduces the Youth Mental Health Giving Guide, a resource created to help Northern Nevadans better understand the local youth mental health system and discover organizations working across prevention, treatment, crisis care and other areas of support. More than 30 organizations, health care providers, government agencies and community partners are working together to improve how young people and families connect with care.

Beginning September 15, eligible donations made through the Community Foundation's youth mental health campaign can be matched dollar for dollar, up to $300,000. Donors can support an individual organization highlighted in the Giving Guide or contribute more broadly and allow the Community Foundation to help direct their gift—creating an opportunity for local generosity to have twice the impact.
