An area of low pressure working its way across the region will continue to bring us periods of snow through Thursday night. After midnight we'll see gradual clearing and most of the snow showers will come to an end. As skies clear, we'll see some very cold temperatures Friday morning with lows in the single digits and teens. And I expect some of our secondary roads and side streets will be snow covered and slick. A weak ridge of high pressure builds across the region starting on Friday. This will bring us quiet weather through Sunday before our next storm system arrives. More on that in a minute. But for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we'll see sunny to partly cloudy skies and slowly warming temperatures. Still chilly Friday with highs in the upper-30s. We'll warm into the low-40s Saturday and climb into the low-50s by Sunday.  The next storm system coming in on Monday night looks to be warmer with high elevation snow and valley rain showers Tuesday and Wednesday. Still a ways to go but snow levels may be quite high. Thankfully this looks to be a relatively fast moving system. Stay tuned.
