Dinner on the Bridge | Celebrate Reno’s Arts Community Over the Truckee River
- Updated
Experience an unforgettable evening of art, food and community above the Truckee River! Tia Flores, Deputy Director of Sierra Arts Foundation, joins Sarah Johns to preview the third annual Dinner on the Bridge, a signature fundraiser taking place Saturday, October 3 at 5 p.m. on the Virginia Street Bridge in Downtown Reno.
Dinner on the Bridge celebrates Northern Nevada’s creative community with an evening filled with different forms of art. Guests will watch artists create original works live, experience poetry and see unique pieces displayed throughout the event—all while supporting Sierra Arts Foundation and its work in the community.
Tia also shares how Sierra Arts Foundation supports local artists while connecting their talents with underserved populations. Programs bring the arts into Title I schools, memory care and assisted living facilities, Renown, the Eddy House and other community settings where creativity can provide connection and healing.
Plus, learn about newly funded professional development for local educators, original poetry created for Dinner on the Bridge, live paintings that will be auctioned during the event and one-of-a-kind tabletop sculptures inspired by Reno’s Virginia Street Bridge.
