Get ready to celebrate fall at 8,000 feet! Rick Reed, Marketing Director, and Kristen Martin Del Campo, Learning Programs Director at Sky Tavern, join Sarah Johns to preview Party in the Sky, Sky Tavern’s annual fall festival bringing mountain biking, outdoor recreation, food, music and family fun to the mountain on Saturday, October 3.

Party in the Sky celebrates the end of Sky Tavern’s mountain bike season while getting the community excited for another winter of skiing and snowboarding. Rick explains how the nonprofit has expanded beyond its longtime winter programs by developing mountain bike trails, clinics, summer camps and outdoor recreation opportunities for kids and adults throughout the year.

Kristen shares how programs such as Riders in the Sky Bike Clinics and summer day camps help participants build confidence, learn new skills and spend more time outdoors. From learning how to care for a bike to riding different terrain, Sky Tavern is working to make outdoor education and recreation fun and accessible for the Reno-Tahoe community.

Plus, get a preview of Party in the Sky, featuring bike demos, shuttles, youth skills workshops, music, food and beverages, a zip line, women's rides, a Jump Jam and a massive raffle packed with ski, snowboard and bike prizes—all while supporting Sky Tavern's community-powered programs.
