Sophia is the production coordinator for 2 Plus You Nevada. Her background spans several facets of entertainment media, including radio, film, theatre, and streaming. A graduate of the University of Arizona’s School of Theatre, Film & Television, her studies focused primarily on film producing, casting, and catering, as well as dramaturgy for theatre.
Concurrent with her studies, she was a radio promoter and board operator at her local iHeartMedia stations in Tucson, Arizona; she then became a full-time producer in iHeartMedia’s National Programming Group, working on audio content for radio stations across the US. She also completed internships and contract work in film & TV development, closed captioning, and streaming operations.
Sophia’s key professional interests are media convergence, the intersection of entertainment and hospitality, and cultivating multiculturalism. In her spare time, she likes cooking, baking, practicing French with her Grandmaman, thrifting, calling her friends, calling her niece, cheesemaking, finding free furniture on the side of the road, studying religion, reading ancient Roman poetry, eating bagels, and cultivating a deeper, more meaningful understanding of disco.
