El Dorado county residents can learn more about what to do during a disaster in a public meeting.
The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office will host the Disaster Council Meeting on Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Community Room at the EL Dorado County Sheriff's Office, 200 Industrial Drive in Placerville.
The meeting is expected to focus on many topics including training and evacuation drills. Council members are also expected to address locations such as South Lake Tahoe and Placerville.
