It's National Donor Day - something that's always observed on Valentine's Day. it's a time to focus on all types of donation - organ, eye, tissue and blood.
This day also serves as a reminder of all the people that have donated to save lives - every donor can save up to eight of them.
Right now, more than 103,000 Americans are waiting for a lifesaving transplant - 644 right here in Nevada.
One of the locations that helped sign up donors was at DoughBoys in south Reno. For a few hours, they gave 10% off to all current organ donors.
There are more than 1.6 million donors registered statewide.
