Alin Beane joined the KTVN team in June 2025 as a full-time weekend video journalist.
Originally from Elko, Alin has had a passion for visual storytelling since he was young. This passion brought him to the University of Nevada, Reno, where he received his bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism shortly before joining the team. He quickly developed skills in video journalism, having some of his work published on the Reynolds School of Journalism's student news website, The Reynolds Sandbox.
When he isn't reporting, Alin likes to play video games, talk about sports, and practice his video editing skills.
