Animal Ark opened for the season on Saturday, and will remain open through around October, weather permitting.
38 animals are staying with them this season including coyotes, bears, tigers, cheetahs, a mountain lion, a jaguar, and more.
"So, we're here to rescue the animals but then we're also here as a resource to the community to educate the public about animals and their role in the ecosystem and why they're important," said Animal Ark Executive Director Theresa Owens.
Animal Ark is open from Tuesday through Sunday every week from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
They are located on Deerlodge Road in the north valleys.
Their next big event is their "Jaguar Spotlight" on Saturday, April 13th.
