The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) office in Applegate, California is giving the opportunity for the public to attend a stargazing event.
This long-day event will be this Saturday starting at 10 a.m.
The BLM says this event is for all ages. The event is for learning, creating and stargazing.
Some activities include:
- 10 a.m. through 2p.m. the Starry Skies Science Fair in the garden
- 7 p.m. through 11p.m. stargazing party at Modoc County Fairgrounds
The BLM says Cedarville is located near the Massacre Rim International Dark Sky Sanctuary, officially one of the darkest places on the planet.
