In an online post, CAL FIRE says they have crews on the scene of a motorhome that caught on fire and spread to some adjacent vegetation at Interstate 80 near the Gold Run exit. 

They say the main fire was approximately a half acre with a second spot that burned approximately a quarter of an acre on the west side. 

Forward progress of the fire was stopped by fire crews. 

According to Caltrans in an online post, Interstate 80's Eastbound number one lane and both of the Westbound lanes have reopened between Colfax and Gold Run in the Sierra.
