The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help identifying a man who allegedly carjacked a vehicle in Stateline on Sunday.
Deputies say that an unknown male suspect forcibly overpowered a victim and stole their 2005 Chrysler 300. The theft occurred at Harrah's Lake Tahoe, located at 15 U.S. Highway 50.
Later, authorities discovered the unoccupied and abandoned Chrysler in the Sacramento, California area.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is asking for anyone that may have witnessed the crime or seen the car in the area after the crime or have any information related to the crime that can help identify the suspect to contact Douglas County Dispatch at (775) 782-5126 or Investigator Gran at (775) 781-1227.
