The Plumas County Sheriff's Office is investigating the drowning of a Nevada man near Quincy, California.
Deputies responded to Oakland Camp along Spanish Creek on Sunday, where witnesses had pulled a 19-year-old man from the water.
Bystanders and deputies began life-saving efforts before medics arrived, but the man died at the scene.
Authorities say there are no signs of foul play.
He has been identified as Jacob Burke of Lovelock, Nevada.
