The South Lake Tahoe Police Department found a credit card skimmer, a device that can be used to steal credit card information. 

The skimmer was found at the 7-11 on Pioneer Trail at Stateline.

They estimate the skimmer was there from the night of Monday, February 26 or the morning of Tuesday, February 27. 

They advise anyone who used a credit card at that location to closely monitor their account. 

Other businesses in the area should check their machines for signs of any tampering.
