Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District responded to a fire on Saturday, June 1.
The fire broke out at Sun Valley Regional Park in the brush and grass.
According to TMFPD, the fire was caused by a barbeque.
TMFPD wants to remind people to be prepared with water or tools to extinguish a small, accidental fire when using barbeques.
