Just after midnight on Sunday, January 5 the Reno Police Department, Fire Department and REMSA responded to reports of a car that had rolled over on South McCarran and Belsera Court.
The driver died at the scene and the passenger was taken to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
South McCarran Boulevard was closed between Skyline and Greensboro Drive until about 7:30 a.m. Sunday.
Reno Police believe speed is a factor in this crash. The Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating.
The name of the person who died will not be released until the next of kin is notified.
