Mobile Home Fire in Sun Valley

Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue (TMFR) crews knocked down a mobile home fire on the 5600 block of Slope Dr. and Sixth Street in Sun Valley. 

TMFR says a minor fire started with the heater and air conditioning unit in the home.

All of the occupants, two adults and four children, are accounted for and suffered no injuries. The home is no longer habitable and Red Cross will be providing assistance to the residents. 

The cause is still under investigation.
