Firefighters made quick work of a brush fire burning in Washoe Valley on Tuesday evening.
It happened on Hawk Street just after 5 p.m., according to a post from Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue on X.
It broke out between two homes, causing minor damage to one of them, but it was quickly knocked down.
There were no injuries reported in the blaze, and the cause is under investigation.
