One person was taken to the hospital after a brush fire broke out in northwest Reno on Monday evening.
It happened around 6:30 p.m. in the area of White Fir Street and grew to one acre in size.
Two people suffered from smoke inhalation due to the fire, with one of them being hospitalized, according to a spokesperson.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but it was driven by high winds.
Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue and the Reno Fire Department responded to the blaze.
There was no property damage caused.
