Four people were arrested for allegedly stealing e-bikes in Douglas County.

On Sunday, May 26, Douglas County Sheriff's Office deputies investigated a series of e-bike thefts. 

They say the investigation led them to a white Dodge van, which they located at a Walmart in Gardnerville.

Deputies say they recovered four e-bikes, which had a combined value of about $5,900.

The four people arrested were:

  • 29-year-old Victor Anguiano from San Pablo, California. His bail is $53,149.
  • 31-year-old Emmanuel Villagomez-Morales from San Pablo, California. His bail is $58,152.
  • 26-year-old Angel Ruiz-Aroyo from San Pablo, California. His bail is $44,283.
  • 38-year-old Jesus Garcia from Richmond, California. His bail is $48,155.

All four face charges of burglary, conspiracy, possession of a controlled substance, possessing stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia and home invasion.
