Washoe County's Homeless Advisory Board will not disband after considering the option during its meeting on Monday.
The board voted unanimously against disbanding, but might consider getting advice from community members with experience being unhoused to help with certain issues.
Board member Michael Clark said that, to his knowledge, none of the board's current members have experienced homelessness.
He says adding members with this experience could help shed light on certain issues.
