Join Together Norther Nevada is joining law enforcement and other community partners this weekend for the semi-annual Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
Residents can turn in unused and expired prescription medications to help protect the community from accidental poisonings and overdoses.
It is happening from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 21st at eight collection sites across Washoe County.
Those locations include:
- Raley's on Wedge Parkway in Reno
- Raley's on Robb Drive in Reno
- Smith's on Lemmon Drive in Reno
- Smith's on South Meadows parkway in Reno
- Reno Elks Lodge on Kumie Lane in Reno
- Elks Lodge on Rock Boulevard in Sparks
- Smith's on Baring Boulevard in Sparks
- Reno Sparks Indian Colony Smoke Shop on Pyramid Way in Sparks
