The Silver Legacy’s annual wing festival returns to downtown Reno this month, filling Virginia Street from Second to Sixth Street with food, drinks and entertainment.
The 11th Annual Biggest Little City Wing Fest runs from 1 to 10 p.m. Friday, July 25, and from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday, July 26.
More than 20,000 pounds of wings will be cooked in a variety of flavors by wing makers from Reno and across the country.
Judges will select winners in several categories Saturday night, including Best Dry Rub, Best Unique Wing, Best BBQ Wing, Celebrities' Choice and the People's Choice.
Live entertainment is free and takes place on the main stage near the Chicken Coop VIP Tent. Country group Runaway June performs Friday, while singer Michael Ray headlines Saturday.
The Chicken Coop VIP Tent offers upgraded experiences. Access includes all-you-can-eat food, an open bar and a shaded seating area near the main stage. Click the hyperlinks for more information or to purchase a ticket.
Family-friendly attractions will be available throughout the event.
The Barnyard Folly relay race runs Friday and Saturday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the corner of Virginia and Fourth Street.
The corn hole tournament and face painting stations can be found at Virginia and Fifth Street.
Local craft vendors will also line the street with goods such as jewelry and artwork.Â
