One man is behind bars after a drug investigation in Elko.
On August 1st, detectives with the Elko Police Department Crime Suppression Unit conducted an investigation into the sale of cocaine withing the community.
Investigators discovered that active drug sales were happening at an intersection in Spring Creek.
Officers and Elko County deputies responded to the intersection with a K9 who indicated drugs were inside a nearby truck. Officers searched the truck and found cocaine and Adderall.
The truck's owner, Ruben Osorio was arrested. A search warrant was then served at his home where police say they found the following:
- 56 firearms
- 320 grams of cocaine
- 135 grams of Adderall
- 246 grams of psilocybin mushrooms
