Authorities are searching for a person of interest in connection with a series of fires intentionally set near East 2nd Street on Thursday. 

Reno Fire tells us crews responded to four small fires starting around 11:45 a.m.

They say two fires were set in the area of 2nd and I-80 while the other two happened near Keystone Avenue and 2nd and Chism Streets. 

Fire crews quickly knocked down the fires and no injuries were reported.
