A bicyclist has died after a crash with an SUV on Tuesday night, and the driver of the SUV was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
It happened around 10:20 p.m. on August 25 in the area of U.S. 50 west and I-580, according to a release from the Nevada State Police.
Preliminary investigation shows that a woman on a bicycle was hit by an SUV and then taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The next day, authorities were notified that she died from her injuries at the hospital.
The driver of the SUV was not injured and was arrested after an investigation resulted in suspicion of impairment.
