The Boys & Girls Club of Western Nevada has a new preschool location that just opened in Carson City.

The school is still accepting new students and they believe that they will be at capacity soon.

One of the main goals of the new daycare program is to create a fun learning environment for children that is also affordable for families. 

"Parents are having to make a decision right now, do I go to work and take care of my kids at home, or do I find an affordable and accessible daycare that allows me to go back to work to put food on the table?" said Brett Zunino, CEO of Boys % Girls Club Western Nevada. "So, it's a huge community need right now."

With there only being 18 day cares in Carson City at the moment, Zunino feels there is a need for more in the area that are accessible for everyone.

Zunino and his team plan on raising money this year to create two more locations by the end of the year.

If the plans are approved by the city in future meetings, these new locations will become a top priority for the Boys & Girls Club of Western Nevada.
