The Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows will be opening four of its clubhouses to help accommodate Washoe County School District families as schools are closed on Monday due to the Hawk Fire.
The non-profit says it's for "families who may need a safe and supportive place for their children during this time. Our goal is to support our families and community however we can during this challenging situation. We will provide a safe environment for youth while helping families navigate disruptions caused by the fire."
The following Clubhouses will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.:
- Pennington Clubhouse
- Donald W. Reynolds (DWR) Clubhouse
- Neil Road Clubhouse
- Carano Youth Center
