Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue is reporting that the Callahan Fire is now fully contained.
In a post on X, TMFR said the fire is now in patrol status.
The agency also said it was important to test the fire under the recent wind events before declaring full containment.
The fire burned 61 acres and destroyed one home, two barns, and a gazebo.
