The Carson City Sheriff's Office is partnering with the Nevada Highway Patrol and regional law enforcement to crack down on speeding.
The high-visibility Joining Forces campaign is aimed at reducing speeding on interstates, highways, and city streets.
The campaign is already underway and will continue through the end of March, according to a release from the CCSO.
Deputies will be focused specifically on speeding and related traffic violations to ensure the safety of drivers.
This campaign is made possible through funding provided by the Nevada Department of Public Safety’s Office of Traffic Safety.
