The Reno-Sparks Indian Colony, in partnership with the Native Organizer's Alliance Fellows, is celebrating Indigenous Peoples Day in Reno.

The Reno area is home to the Numa (Paiute), the WaSheShu (Washoe) and the Newe (Shoshone) people.

A celebration is happening Monday, October 14 at Anderson Park in the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony.

A round dance will be performed, and a dinner provided for attendees.

Anderson Park can be found at 34 Reservation Road in Reno.

The event is a non-partisan event.
