City of Reno Senior Dance

The City of Reno is calling on local seniors to join the fun at its upcoming Senior Halloween Dance, a festive afternoon of music, costumes, and socializing.

The festival is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 28, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the McKinley Arts and Culture Center Auditorium.

Hosted by the city’s Seniors EngAGED program, the event is free and open to people ages 60 and older.

Costumes are encouraged, and light refreshments will be served in a lively atmosphere designed to bring the community together.

“We love creating opportunities for our senior community to connect, celebrate, and have fun,” said Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve. “This dance party is a great way to bring people together and away from isolation for an eerie, good time!”

Seniors EngAGED offers a variety of activities throughout the year aimed at involving seniors in community life. These include technology classes, field trips, resource fairs, and more.

No RSVP is required for the Halloween event.
