The City of Sparks will remove weeds along Baring Boulevard later this week.
Green Diamond Landscaping will clear weeds from medians and roadsides along Baring Boulevard between Rockwood Drive and Shadow Lane. Work will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both Wednesday and Thursday.
Drivers should expect lane closures in the work area, with one lane open in each direction throughout the project.
The project does not include areas that are not maintained by the City of Sparks, including the section of Baring Boulevard from Sparks Boulevard to just east of Sorensen Way.
Drivers are encouraged to slow down and use caution when traveling through the work area.
