A commercial vehicle carrying cement rolled over Tuesday morning on northbound South Carson Street near U.S. 50, knocking down a utility pole and forcing a road closure in Carson City.
According to Nevada State Police in an online post, northbound South Carson Street is closed at the intersection of Interstate 580 and South Carson Street as troopers, Public Works and the Nevada Department of Transportation work to clear the scene.
The crash was first reported at 9:42 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Nevada Department of Transportation. Traffic cameras showed emergency crews and a tow truck at the scene with traffic backing up in the area.
