The community is invited to gather at Reno-Tahoe International Airport on Sunday to welcome home veterans returning from an Honor Flight Nevada trip.
The veterans will return to Reno aboard Southwest Airlines Flight 806 as part of Honor Flight Nevada’s Operation Homecoming.
Community members, families, veterans' organizations and supporters are encouraged to fill the airport’s main lobby with signs, flags and cheers as the veterans arrive.
It's happening at the Reno-Tahoe International main lobby at 3:40 p.m. on Sunday September 20. You're encourage to arrive early and wear red, white and blue.
