A Reno-area high school has once again landed among the top high schools in the country, with Davidson Academy ranking No. 4 nationally in the latest U.S. News & World Report rankings.
The school held the same spot in the publication's 2025-26 rankings, making this the second consecutive year Davidson Academy has been ranked fourth in the nation.
Davidson Academy serves profoundly gifted students and is a public school in Reno. The school was established to provide an advanced educational opportunity tailored to students' abilities, strengths and interests.
The latest U.S. News rankings place Davidson Academy behind three schools nationally. The Reno school is followed by School Without Walls in Washington, D.C., at No. 5.
The recognition puts a Nevada school among the nation's highest-ranked high schools again, while other schools across the state also performed well in the latest rankings.
