With flood season approaching, Douglas County is inviting the community to an education flood awareness event.
The county says the event will provide critical information to help residents and local businesses prepare for potential flooding.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn directly from experts, including representatives from Douglas County Stormwater Management and other agencies.
The workshop will be held on Tuesday November 10, 2026, from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the Dining Room at the Douglas County Community and Senior Center, located at 1329 Waterloo Lane in Gardnerville
