Douglas County Search and Rescue personnel helped a stranded backcountry snowshoer on Thursday.
It happened while they were on their way to help take an injured skier across rugged terrain.
Rescue team members were able to follow the snowshoer's tracks and find her and her partner at their disabled Jeep.
They were then taken safely back to the highway.
