Downtown Reno fire 1

Reno Fire Crews were called to a commercial structure fire in downtown Reno Saturday night.

It happened at the corner of West Second and North Virginia Street. The fire was contained to the second floor and attic space of the building.

According to a Sunday post on the Reno Firefighters Association Facebook page, crews were able to stop the fire within 10 minutes of receiving the initial alarm. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation. One firefighter was treated on scene for heat exhaustion, but no one else was hurt.Â
