The Washoe County Sheriff's Office arrested a driver after a crash near East Golden Valley Road and Spearhead Way just before 8 p.m. Tuesday.
An off-duty officer witnessed the crash and immediately stopped to help. The officer helped one of the drivers get out of a smoking vehicle.
Following an investigation, 30-year-old Monterio Hall was arrested and charged with DUI and driving with a suspended license.
One driver was hurt in the crash and suffered what authorities described as minor injuries.
