Nevada State Police have identified a driver killed in a crash May 26 on Interstate 80 near Elko County mile marker 21, at the west end of Elko.
An investigation determined that a white Volvo commercial vehicle was traveling eastbound when it failed to maintain its lane and left the roadway.
The Volvo struck the end of a guardrail before the driver steered to the right, crossing the roadway and hitting a second guardrail.
The Volvo overturned and landed on the driver's side.
The driver, a 23-year-old from Fresno, California was declared dead at the scene.Â
