A Fernley man is facing multiple charges after deputies say he threatened to shoot himself and others.
The Lyon County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to East Main Street in Fernley around 11:45 p.m. Saturday after witnesses reported an armed man making threats at a gas station.
According to deputies, multiple gunshots were reportedly fired near the business and gas pumps as he drove away. No one was hurt.
Investigators reviewed surveillance footage, which helped identify a suspect and vehicle.
On Tuesday, deputies found the car and the suspect, Christopher Tyson Serrato.
Serrato was arrested and was booked into the Lyon County Jail on charges including:
- Assault with a Deadly Weapon
- Discharging a Firearm from a Vehicle in a Prohibited or Populated Area
- Discharging a Firearm Where Persons May Be Endangered
- Breach of Peace
- Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm
His total bond was set at $53,780.
