Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue crews responded to a fire near Wadsworth Friday evening.
Crews were able to stop forward progress after the fire burned about 8 acres.
There were no injuries and no structures damaged.
According to TMFR, the fire was likely caused by target shooters.
